The living room, lit by a pair of grand floor-to-ceiling windows, an inlay surround crowns the floors and the real conversation piece, the mantle with its flat pilasters and classical capitals; a room definitely worthy of its ceiling height. Into the dining room, the eye moves directly to the built-in china cabinet, an understated compliment to the living room's mantle. Past the retro-fitted half bath into the kitchen. Though updated at the end of the 20th century, the 1910 Icebox remains as "storage with a story". Upstairs, a large bedroom enjoys the front facing view of a breakout bay window. Passing a large walk-in closet in the hall, there's a bedroom on the left as one moves towards the rear where the full bath sits outside the rear bedroom. With original built-in mirrored closets and drawers, two benches beneath opposing windows flank the door to the back deck, a screened in balcony awaiting a 21st century update. From the deck, one can appreciate the tree-canopied, fenced yard. A path leads from the back porch to the shaded patio beyond the garden. Below the home, a full length basement with the height for finishing and a door for rear access, has endless potential.
